Newly remastered, this is the 2nd variant of the 2nd generation of the Mojobox. New spring setup that enhances performance, punch, adjustability, and makes it more cartridge friendly!
Now with more versatility and ease of hit adjustment throughout the tattoo. It is more ergonomic, more reliable, and most of all, more performance focused than its predecessor. It is a punchy coil like machine with the reliability and ergonomics of a rotary.
The focus of its design is to be more like a shader/packer that can also line well, whereas the Sidewinder is more of a liner that can shade. If you prefer more punch at a slower to medium speed, this is a great option. Excellent for fine line, black and grey, color packing with any size mag. Can drive 14 liners, if you prefer to “set the needle into the skin” whereas the Sidewinder prefers to have the needle floated across the skin.
The Remastered Mojobox has a numbered upstroke wheel (same as the V3r) which allows for a wide range of versatility throughout the hit once in the 5.3 and up voltage ranges. Simply turn the stroke wheel for a longer or shorter stroke. The 5 setting is middle of the road and what most people use. Turn up towards 9 for longer srtroke and down towards 1 for shorter stroke.
Intended for standard needle on bar. For cartridges, you may use a rubber band to negate the tension by pulling the rubber band over the top of the armature. Needle on bar will have more hit and cartridges will be slightly subdued and less aggressive which is the nature of a cartridge.
Typical operating range: 4 - 6 volts, sweet spot for most is 5 Volts on the 5 setting.

NEW Dan Kubin MCi (Mini Cranker with Impact)!
Step up your tattoo game with the new DK MCi – a plug-and-play remastered version of Dan's Mini Cranker from 2011. Updated and refined, it's designed for precision and ease of use, whether you're using a needle on bar or cartridges. With its wide range of versatility and solid hit, it's a must-have for any tattoo artist.
Specs:
Steel Frame with durable Black Oxide Finish
Weighted Brass Armature
Deluxe Kubin Components including DK Thumbs and updated Slide Vise
Setup / Usage:
Works well with Standard Needle on Bar AND with Cartridges
Possible to run with Cartridges without any adjustment or tricks, but if you pull your rubber band over the armature it will increase the snap at the tip
This machine is cartridge friendly, but best to use lower tension cartridges if going that route. (Workhorse Eco Carts and Non Membrane Carts work well with these machines)
Great for Lining and Shading with small to medium groupings, turn voltage up and down for speed and hit adjustment as needed
Higher voltage between 5 - 7 Volts for most Lining
Lower Voltage between 3.5 - 5 Volts for most Shading, Color Packing, and Stipple Work
Polarity is not crucial, but will run slightly more efficiently with Positive Down
The impact screw can be backed off all the way, but ideal to still have a little impact to reduce motor shaft strain
Turning the impact screw in too much will result in stalling the machine or putting too much strain on the motor.
Ideal impact is about 1/4-1/2 turn clockwise from the point of zero impact.
Use and Care:
Please refer to the MCi setup video on my YouTube channel for further clarification - See Link Below
After a few years, the bearings may dry up. You may use A SINGLE DROP of sewing machine oil on the bearings. DO NOT FILL THE MOTOR WITH OIL!!
Keep sterilants away from all moving and electrical components!
Sterilants are corrosive and will damage your machine if used carelessly.

"The V3/23 follows the same concept as the past V3r, but with a focus on what makes a Sidewinder a Sidewinder. Hard hitting, effortless, and zippy. -Intended for experienced artists who don’t want to mess around.
The 23 model is more reminiscent of the original V3r from 2019, but with some enhancements in the tuning longevity.
We stripped it down a little more, and added in the extra performance. The stroke wheel has been simplified with having 3 timing marks instead of numbers. The marks are of different lengths, with the longest mark signifying the longer stroke range, a middle mark that is the default setting, and a short mark to signify the shorter stroke range.
The sound of the machine has been enhanced in comparison to the 2nd and 3rd variation V3r. Plus the machine now sits a little lower, providing more ergonomics."
Thanks for looking - Dan.
Machine Specs:
HD Pink Powder Coated Brass Frame with 24k Gold Plated Hardware and Motor Cover
DK Thumbscrew, new Armature Bar, and updated Stroke Wheel for improved performance
The renowned rotary liner. Effortlessly sink any size line by just grazing the skin.
The motor is the same as the V2-V4 and V7 Sidewinder, which has proven the test of time. It has been a favorite of the long time Sidewinder collectors.
Vice-Lock that easily tightens on nearly any tube
Great for all varieties of Line Work or as a Fast Shader/Packer
Timing mark on the cam and frame for setting the impact screw. (Just like the V5 and V6)
Marked stroke dial so you can easily play with the stroke without fear of losing that sweet spot. You can’t make it too long or too short
Machine Setup:
Standard Needle on Bar: wrap a thick rubber band around the motor cap and across the front of the machine to add needle bar tension. It is recommended that you use Thick Rubber Bands and Dan's Perfect Nipples.
Cartridges: wrap a rubber band around the motor cap and over the top of the armature bar to counteract the cartridge's upward tension. Thick or standard rubber bands both work, it will just depend on the tension of the cartridge membrane or band to determine with rubber band provides the proper counter resistance.
